JONATHAN KEEBLER is a lyricist and bookwriter based in New York City. His musicals include GAY CARD (music by Ryan Korell), MEET AND RUN (music by Ryan Korell), TRUTH OR LIE (music by Bob Kelly), THE DAWN OF EDEN (music by Ryan Korell), THE SOPHOMORES (music by Jam Jacobs), and THE GOOD CHILD (music by Insoo Oh), as well as short works including WORLDS APART (music by Ryan Korell) and the short film and stage musical, A MOST AVERAGE MUSICAL (screenplay by Talia Berger, music by Bob Kelly).
He was a finalist for the Jonathan Larson Grants. His work has been seen at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Soundbites 4.0, UC Irvine’s 4@15, the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre, the College of Charleston, and Rollins College, as well as performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below, Joe’s Pub, and the Green Room 42. He is a continuing member of the Theatre Now Writers Lab. His work has been developed at the Johnny Mercer Writer’s Colony at Goodspeed Musicals, as well as by Hajjar Entertainment at the New York Theatre Workshop. He has released a Studio Cast Recording of GAY CARD and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of MEET AND RUN (available April 2022), available wherever you get your music. He is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.
He is originally from Delray Beach, Florida, and has an MFA in musical theatre writing from NYU Tisch and a BA in theatre arts with concentrations in directing and performance from Rollins College.
