Overview
One car.  Three women.  A state line hours away.  On the other side of that state line is an abortion clinic.

Written by 2021 Yale Drama Series Prize winner Rachel Lynett, this powerful play moves through a tumultuous emotional landscape in its exploration of womanhood.  Each bump in the road unveils new dimensions of complexity, vulnerability, heartbreak, and nuance in this riveting story.

Featured in the 16th Annual Page To Stage Festival at the Kennedy Center

"Abortion Road Trip is a blast. It’s serious but also very funny, with relatable characters and (mostly) believable complications...it doesn’t shy away from abortion’s nuances and messy complications.”

“The production brings a nuanced and balanced story forward: gentle-at-times, and hard-hitting in the right places."
- DC Theatre Scene

“Thanks to sweating the smaller stuff, the story's emotional impact lingers long after the final bows.”
 - DC-ist Review
