Zachary Olson is a former theatre and creative writing teacher from Portland, Oregon who has transplanted to southern Italy. By day, a freelance editor specialized in novels, short stories, poetry, and theatre scripts, often in science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal. By night, a writer, poet, and playwright with an inclination towards dystopia and outer space. Creative projects include poetry collections: The Constant Giraffe (2010), The Crow Sits Alone In Winter Time (2015), and Rock Paper Spaceship (2015). A novelette: Just Chalk (Or Fire) (2024). And several stage plays: Splinter Wind (2014), Whisker Lakes Summer Camp (2026), and A Play About Time Travel (Or Whatever) (2026).
