Idris Goodwin is a multi–award-winning storyteller whose work spans stage, screen, audio, and the page. Goodwin engages broad multi generational audiences through his rhythmic and relevant plays such as How We Got On, From The Mouth Of Monsters, And In This Corner Cassius Clay, in addition to books for young readers including King of the Neuro Verse. 

Goodwin’s work has been commissioned and produced by institutions including The Kennedy Center, the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Arena Stage. A United States Artist Fellow and seasoned educator, Goodwin brings a deep commitment to craft, collaboration, and audience engagement.
