## Overview

The undergraduates of Fir Tree College’s ready themselves for the annual “Dress to Get Laid” Party—a big, epic, slightly terrifying, sexually charged, eponymous off-campus ritual. Freshman Jackie is determined to get her modern dance major BFF Alaska to notice her in a *hot* way. He finally does, the fantasy collapses fast, and various characters are forced to confront various hard questions: can love ever measure up to how perfect it looks in the movies? Should you date another artist if their work kind of sucks? Why does this college have no majors?
Catherine Weingarten's ***This is How You Got Me Naked*** explores the darker side of collegiate hookup culture through characters who are both wildly outlandish and piercingly sincere. Her signature voice swings from bonkers comedy to aching vulnerability in a heartbeat. Character ricochet through their worlds like frenetic pinballs: hyper-theatrical and deeply vulnerable, ultimately revealing the strange, tender humanity beneath their bravado.
(We also think this play contains what may be the classiest, funniest, and fully-clothed sex scene ever written—more comedic than erotic, bursting with awkward earnestness and deep sincerity, and as epic as a Verdi opera.)
