## Overview

***Seven teenage hero archetypes:*****a boy-wizard, a brooding hacker, a silent protagonist, a reluctant blond, a brave volunteer, a son of the gods, and an ass-(or butt, if you're family-friendly)-kicking teen.**
A prophecy foretelling a Chosen One who will protect life as we know it. But, dang it, the Powers That Be got a little overeager and assigned the task to...all seven. Whom amongst them is THE Chosen One? Can they work together to vanquish evil or will they self-destruct on their journey? And why are there so many wizened, old men with long white beards offering advice along the way?
Join the journey as our heroes adventure through dramatic locations from foggy, rhyme-y liminal spaces to epic mountaintop battles against bad little creatures, from the evil lair of the villainous Overthinker to an everyday comic shop for a sporting campaign of a definitely-not-copywritten fantasy tabletop role-playing game.
Playwright David Andrew Laws' trope-skewering comedy lovingly dismantles the mythology of destiny, fandom, and narrative certainty itself. With rapid-fire humor, his love letter to teenage pop culture heroes exposes the messy humanity underneath every prophecy. Is a heartfelt parody a thing? If so, this is it!
