As narrative playfully flips between highly-stylized vignettes and raw, authentic interactions, the players would rather grapple with fantastical foes than face their own complicated realities.

## Plot

Coyote Thunder, the West Harris High School all-girl esports team, is preparing for a grudge match with their longtime rivals, The Lewisburg Lions. When they find out that a talent scout will be at the match, potentially offering a college scholarship, the pressure is on like never before.
As they hone their skills and relationships, their newest member, turtle-dance, learns that the Coyotes express themselves in a lot of unusual ways: calling each other out for high-noon duels, singing shanties aboard a pirate ship, a lot of weird stuff. Try as she might, turtle-dance can’t seem to let go and play the way they do.
Through genres, homages, and references even they don’t always get, the stakes intensify until a teammate’s death brings reality crashing down around them.
