## Bio

Zachary Olson is a former theatre and creative writing teacher from Portland, Oregon who has transplanted to southern Italy. By day, a freelance editor specialized in novels, short stories, poetry, and theatre scripts, often in science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal. By night, a writer, poet, and playwright with an inclination towards dystopia and outer space. Creative projects include poetry collections: *The Constant Giraffe* (2010), *The Crow Sits Alone In Winter Time* (2015), and *Rock Paper Spaceship* (2015). A novelette: *Just Chalk (Or Fire)* (2024). And several stage plays: *Splinter Wind* (2014), *Whisker Lakes Summer Camp* (2026), and *A Play About Time Travel (Or Whatever)* (2026).
