## Bio

As an emerging playwright and Associate Member of the Dramatist Guild of America, Mike's work has been presented at New York’s Naked Angels, was chosen as a semifinalist for the Eugene O’Neill Playwright’s Conference, and he received a special invitation for re-submission to the Philip Seymour Hoffman Relentless Play Award. His play *Trophy Room* was selected as a Second Rounder by the Austin Film Festival’s Play Competition, and received a two-week workshop and fully staged reading at the Redhouse Theatre in Syracuse, NY. His short film script *The Bridge* was a recipient of the Sunday Shorts Film Festival “Best Script Award,” and his screenplay adaptation of British novelist James Hawes’ *A White Merc with Fins* was a semifinalist in the Big Apple Film Festival.
Mike has also been a professional actor for over twenty years. His resume spans Broadway national tours, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, soap opera, episodic television, and major motion pictures.
