## Bio

Matt Cox is a playwright, actor, improviser, sound designer, and former comic book retail associate based in New York City.
He is the writer of 2022 & 2023’s second most produced play in US high schools, *Puffs Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At A Certain School Of Magic & Magic.* Other work includes: *Witches!? In Salem?!, The Magnificent Revengers,* and the geek epic *Kapow-i GoGo* (as well as it's spinoffs *The Kapow-i GoGo Holiday Special, The Kapow-i GoGo Holiday Special II: The Carol of The Clones,* and *I am Mr. Snuggles.)* Matt produced, wrote, directed, and ran the interactive live-streamed production: *Guy Choiceman Decides To Save America!* He authored the radio play *El Hombre Bovino* for WNYC’s The Greene Space, and contributed to The Flea Theater’s *The Mysteries*. His work has been produced at New World Stages, HERE, The Elektra Theater, The People’s Improv Theater, The Tank, and The Flea Theater, among other places.
