Erin Dealey is an award-winning playwright, educator, and author of 20+ children’s books (so far) including **DEAR EARTH…From Your Friends in Room 5** (Harper Collins/ Illus. Luisa Uribe), **PETER EASTER FROG** (Simon & Schuster, Caitlyn Dlouhy Books/ Illus. G. Brian Karas), **SNOWGLOBE WISHES** (Sleeping Bear/ Illus. Claire Shorrock) & **JUST FLOWERS** (Sleeping Bear/ Illus. Kate Cosgrove). A former middle school and high school theater teacher, Erin's goal is to write the plays she was always searching for: meaningful, relevant scripts with flexible roles that not only challenge actors but leave room for fun and discovery. Erin has led the theatre department at Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp for 30+ seasons. She is a former International Thespian Society troupe director, Lenaea High School Theatre Festival respondent, Sacramento Theater Company teacher (Education outreach), and member of EdTA.
