## Bio

Daniel Robert Sullivan's written works include *Braving the Bronx River: A 23-Mile Kayak from Westchester to Rikers Island,* *Prospect High: Brooklyn*, *There's No Substitute for Empathy*, *Lockdown: Await Further Instructions*, and *Places, Please!: Becoming A Jersey Boy*. He received a dual master's degree from the University of Missouri/Kansas City and three bachelor's degrees from the University of Rhode Island. Daniel is an actor, having appeared in the primary US companies of *Dear Evan Hansen*, *Jersey Boys*, *Motown the Musical*, and *The Sound of Music*. He has been a Master Teaching Artist with Roundabout Theatre Company for 25 years. The New York Times referred to him as having “the seductive magnetism of a snake-oil salesman” and he repeats that whenever possible. Daniel maintains a home base Williamsburg, Brooklyn, piecing together an artistic and sporadically stable life.
